Jonah Karsten

A Bit About our Head Coach

Jonah is a 5th year student-athlete at MacEwan University, studying business and playing volleyball for the Griffins. Jonah has played volleyball competitively for eight years, including four at MacEwan. He played for FOG Volleyball Club where he won the U17 national championship in 2019.

Jonah has coached volleyball camps the past two years with Pursuit, Jr. Griffins and JUMP volleyball and currently serves as an assistant coach for Park Elite U15 Blue. He encourages every athlete to get out of their comfort zone and to have the patience to try new things. Jonah's goal is to equip young athletes for the next level and to further the growth of volleyball in our community.
