Spotlight Sports Performance Expands – New Training Space & Programs for Young Athletes

Now Open at 135-3001 Buckingham Drive Inside Shoot 360 Sherwood Park

We’re excited to announce that Spotlight Sports Performance is expanding. Starting in April 2025, we will officially open our new training space inside Shoot 360 Sherwood Park at 135-3001 Buckingham Drive.


With this expansion, we’re launching specialized sports performance programs designed specifically for volleyball and basketball players who want to build strength, improve agility, and enhance their overall athleticism.


Why Athletic Training Matters for Young Athletes


For young athletes, structured strength and conditioning is crucial for long-term success in sports. Proper training helps:

  • Increase Strength & Power – Essential for jumping higher, sprinting faster, and dominating on the court

  • Improve Speed & Agility – Quickness and coordination are key to reacting faster and moving efficiently

  • Prevent Injuries – Strengthening muscles, joints, and movement patterns helps reduce the risk of common sports injuries

Our New Sports Performance Programs


We offer a progressive training system that caters to athletes at different levels, whether they’re just getting started with strength training or looking to take their performance to the next level.


Baseline Performance Program (Group Training – Sundays)


Designed for athletes who want to build fundamental strength, mobility, and athleticism in a small-group setting (capped at 6 athletes per group).

Sunday Training Schedule:

  • Boys Athletic Foundations – 3:00 PM

  • Girls Peak Performance – 4:00 PM

  • Boys Peak Performance – 5:00 PM

  • Girls Athletic Foundations – 6:00 PM

Additional sessions may be added on Saturdays based on demand.


Complete Performance Program (Up to 4 Sessions Per Week)


This program is for athletes looking for high-level training to develop strength, speed, and power with an individualized training plan and regular performance testing.

  • Up to 4 coached performance sessions per week

  • Outdoor speed sessions in summer

  • Book training sessions up to 30 days in advance

This program is primarily for high school-aged athletes, but younger athletes may qualify—contact us to learn more.


Elite Performance Program (Personal Training + Performance Training)


For athletes looking for the ultimate training experience, this program includes:

  • One private personal training session per week

  • Up to 3 coached performance training sessions per week

  • Regular performance testing

  • Outdoor speed sessions in summer
